Rochester, NY- Intercon Associates announced that it has released PreScript 7.4, the latest version of its industry-leading collection of digital prescription warning labels and graphic icons. PreScript 7.4 supersedes version 7.3 and contains over 465 warning labels.

"Intercon has a long history of providing the pharmacy industry with the latest prescription drug warnings," said Mark Basta, President of Intercon’s Rx Division. "We work closely with medical database companies such as First Databank and Wolters Kluwer Health (MediSpan) to ensure that the Intercon collection of warning labels is the most comprehensive in the industry. We also work directly with all major pharmacy management software providers so their applications perform at peak efficiency. Our goal is to provide pharmacists with more information so they can better counsel their patients."

PreScript 7.4 contains 5 new and 24 revised prescription warning labels as well as 2 improved graphic icons for better warning identification. PreScript 7.4 is available in English, Spanish and French translations and comes standard with the most widely used barcodes in pharmacy (3 of 9, UPC and Code 128). PreScript 7.4 is available on flash memory cards for printers from Lexmark, HP, Kyocera and other leading manufacturers as well as the Intercon E-Script Software format.
